Job summary

Smart Start, Inc. in North Carolina seeks a field-based Business Development Representative to expand influencer partnerships across an assigned territory.

This is a primarily field-based role focused on building relationships with influencers, government officials, and referral sources to drive end users to Smart Start alcohol monitoring and ignition interlock products. Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or business development.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to demonstrate and utilize breath alcohol testing devices.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain in-person relationships with influencers in the territory.
• Generate new sales through proactive outreach and territory planning.
• Educate partners on product functionality and compliance features.
• Travel within assigned territory to develop referral sources.
