Job summary

Smart Start, Inc. is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to expand market presence within a territory through in-person relationships with influencers and government partners.

You will generate new sales, manage referrals, and provide consultative support while traveling to meet key stakeholders and stay current on regulatory requirements in the alcohol monitoring and ignition interlock programs.

Qualifications

• Field-based sales experience and ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to demonstrate breath alcohol testing devices.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Independent, self-motivated and relationship-driven professional.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain in-person relationships with influencers in the territory.
• Generate new sales through proactive outreach and territory planning.
• Expand referral sources and drive lead generation.
• Provide consultative support to government officials and partners.
• Attend industry events and stay informed on state regulations.
