Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive growth in residential and light commercial accounts. You will identify prospective customers, generate leads, and build trusted relationships, delivering proposals and managing accounts from sale to project completion.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in building products/construction sales, a driver's license, and willingness to travel locally (>50%). Base plus commissions and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, generate new business leads and manage accounts.
• Meet monthly sales targets.
• Communicate safety programs to customers at sale inception by inspecting job sites for safety concerns.
• Manage customer experience from initial sale to project completion.
