Job summary

Aspiranet is seeking a compassionate Support Counselor to join our team in Hanford, CA. The role focuses on delivering high-quality behavioral care to youth in crisis within a family-centered framework.

The position requires a BA/BS or equivalent behavioral health experience, evenings/weekends flexibility, and compliance with background checks and health screenings. This on-site role operates under the Behavioral Health department and reports to the Core Program Supervisor.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 2+ years in behavioral health field.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• DOJ fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance
• TB/Health physical
• Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Meet with youth and caregiver per program and plan requirements.
• Implement interventions and transfer skills to caregivers.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and agency standards.
• Complete timely contact notes and reports to program standards.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
