Job summary

Aspiranet in Antioch, California is seeking a compassionate Support Counselor II for Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) to positively impact a child’s life, working one-on-one in home or community settings. You will implement treatment plans and support youth to thrive in their community.

Requirements include a BA/BS in a related field or 2 years of behavioral health experience, DOJ clearance, TB/health physical, CA driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in a related field or 2 full time equivalent years experience in a behavioral health related field.
• DOJ fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance
• TB/Health physical; CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Travel to client’s homes or community setting to coach at-risk youth.
• Build a strong, positive relationship to create a safe space for the client.
• Document and share treatment plans with the team.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and clinical consultations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
