Job summary

Aspiranet seeks a compassionate Support Counselor II to join the Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) team in Antioch, California. You will work one-on-one with at-risk youth and families in home or community settings, implementing treatment and intervention plans to help youth thrive.

Traveling to client homes, you will build strong, supportive relationships, document progress, attend team meetings, and collaborate with social workers, parent partners, and clinicians to provide the best care.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in a related field or 2 full time equivalent years experience in a behavioral health related field.
• Meets all state-required employment conditions, including: DOJ fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health physical, valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client homes or community settings to coach and guide at-risk youth.
• Document and share status and experiences of treatment plans with team members.
• Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and clinical consultations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
