Job summary

Outlook Therapeutics is seeking a field reimbursement expert to support our U.S. launch of a novel ophthalmic therapy. You will educate retina practices on payer coverage, prior-authorization, coding requirements, and claims submission, acting as the go-to resource for reimbursement questions.

You will own a defined territory, lead quarterly business reviews, monitor denial trends, and coordinate with Sales for consistent messaging. Significant travel (50-70%) within the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in reimbursement, market access, patient services, or related field within pharma/biotech.
• Experience navigating Medicare/MACs, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer coverage.
• Track record using claims data to identify denial trends and coding barriers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field reimbursement resource for retina practices and staff.
• Educate on payer coverage policy, prior-authorization, and claim submission.
• Guide practices through prior-authorization and appeals processes.
• Support launch readiness by mapping payer landscape and feeding access-strategy input.
