Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build retailer relationships, educate merchants on client programs, and drive growth across your territory. This field-based role requires daily store visits and a personal vehicle for travel within the Pittsburgh market.

You will engage with merchants, educate them on financial services, provide on-site support, and ensure great customer experiences at each location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.
• Requires a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and successful MVR screening.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
