UnitedHealth Group in Rhode Island is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to join our clinical team, helping consumers define recovery goals and access community resources. This field-based role supports coordination between families, providers, and community agencies to stabilize conditions and reduce high-level services.

You will travel up to 75% within a 50-mile radius, work a 40-hour week, and optionally perform some work from a home office.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year working knowledge of community resources.
• 1+ year experience with Medicaid population.
• Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification in RI or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Ability to travel 75% within 50 miles of territory; RI Driver’s License and insurance.

Aufgaben

• Assist families and consumers in defining recovery goals using lived experience.
• Support consumers with co-occurring disorders.
• Collaborate to coordinate services with Care Managers, providers, and community agencies.
• Develop WRAP and Crisis plans with consumers.
• Document interactions in the documentation platform.
