PTC Therapeutics, Inc is seeking a Patient Engagement Liaison to support rare disease communities, primarily PKU, and collaborate with caregivers and advocacy groups. This field-based role emphasizes education, resource sharing, and cross-functional collaboration across medical, communications, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities include engaging with patient advocacy organizations, educating communities, and helping remove access barriers to therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advocacy, medical, or related field.
• Experience supporting people with rare diseases and advocacy organizations.

Responsabilités

• Engage with the rare disease community and patient advocacy organizations.
• Collaborate internally to build relationships with patients, caregivers, and advocacy groups.
• Assist with resources to remove access barriers for marketed products.
• Build patient advocacy and community relationships for disease states.
• Work cross-functionally with medical, communications, commercial, legal, and compliance teams.
• Connect families to advocacy organizations and resources.
• Develop and execute educational programs for those living with rare diseases.
