Job summary

Krystal Biotech is seeking a Patient Access Liaison to educate patients, caregivers and HCP staff on payer access, prior authorization, and billing processes. This field-based role covers assigned regions and requires travel to meet patients where they are.

The PAL collaborates with specialty pharmacies and distributors, maintains relationships, supports adherence, and documents case progress in Krystal's CRM. 5+ years in patient services or field reimbursement are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in patient services, field reimbursement, biopharma sales or account management.
• Experience working directly with patients/families providing education and access support.
• Orphan or Rare disease experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients, caregivers, and HCP staff on payer access, insurance processes, and authorization requirements.
• Assist patients in locating sites of care and options for home dosing.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and caregivers via multiple communication channels.
• Provide information on affordability options and patient assistance programs.
• Coordinate next appointments and therapy initiation while ensuring adherence.
• Document case progress and manage tasks in the Krystal CRM/Workflow system.
