Job summary

Rapid Packaging is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our field-based sales team in Minnesota. You will actively prospect, meet with customers, and drive end-of-line packaging solutions while growing sales with current and new customers.

You will leverage value-based approaches, develop product knowledge, and travel to build long-term relationships. A strong track record in sales and excellent communication are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of related sales experience.
• Strong interest in packaging, equipment, end-of-line automation.
• Solution-oriented with a value creation mindset for customers.
• Proven track record of selling success and hunting new business.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and oral.
• Technical aptitude and ability to work in a team.
• Experience with CRM and business software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business using contemporary selling strategies.
• Develop deep product and market knowledge to address customer needs.
• Align value-based solutions with customer objectives and growth goals.
• Prospect new customers via directories, trade shows, websites and other sources.
• Maintain and update the CRM with current and prospective customers.
• Travel to meet customers, present solutions, and build relationships.
• Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
