Job summary

Chase & Associates represents a privately owned, rapidly growing packaging manufacturer seeking a dynamic Business Development professional (the hunter) to source leads, build a strong pipeline, and close the first PO. You will win brand-new business and direct packaging sales to customers, including customized packaging for pharma, nutraceutical, vitamin, or similar markets.

You will travel nationally up to 50%, hand off accounts to Account Managers for continued growth, and continually develop

Qualifications

• Experience and proven track record of winning brand-new business.
• Experience selling packaging directly to customers.
• Experience working with customized packaging sales.
• Experience selling into the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, vitamin, or similar markets/customers.
• Experience with cold-chain / refrigerated packaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hand off newly gained accounts to Account Managers for further growth.
• Continuous development of new leads and winning new customers.

Our client is a privately-owned and dynamically growing packaging manufacturer. We are looking to add a Business Development (read: HUNTER) to their team that has the following:

• experience and proven track record of winning brand-new business (from sourcing leads and building pipeline to closing that first PO)
• experience selling packaging directly to the customers
• experience working with customized packaging sales
• experience selling into the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, vitamin, supplement, or similar type of markets / customers
• experience with cold-chain / refrigerated / temperature-controlled packaging or customers is a plus

Additionally, you'll have to be comfortable with:

• handing off your newly gained accounts to Account Managers for further growth
• continuous development of new leads and winning new customers
• national travel up to 50%
