Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Life Science Sales Specialist to drive growth across the Life Science portfolio in a field-based role within Massachusetts. You will work with territory sales teams, customers, and partners to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and close complex sales while expanding market presence.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in a scientific field with 4–5 years of industry/lab experience; advanced degrees preferred, and willing to travel five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is required.
• Advanced degrees (Masters/PhD) preferred.
• 4-5 years of industry/lab experience required.
• Massachusetts location preferred; travel 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Sell entire VWR Life Science product portfolio with emphasis on Cell Biology, Genomics and Proteomics workflows.
• Identify and close new business with RDs, Business Development and Strategic Partners to drive national and multi-site programs.
• Engage and collaborate with generalist teams across segments to support life science initiatives.
• Mentor and support new Life Science Specialists; communicate goals and performance to sales leadership.
