Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Life Science Sales Specialist to drive growth across the Life Science portfolio in a field-based role. You will work with territory sales teams, customers and partners as a subject matter expert in Genomics, Proteomics, Cellular Science and Microbiology workflows.

You will identify opportunities, develop solutions and close complex sales while strengthening relationships and expanding market presence within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field is required.
• Advanced degrees (Masters/PhD) preferred.
• 4-5 years of industry/lab experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sell entire Life Science portfolio with emphasis on Cell Biology, Genomics and Proteomics workflows.
• Identify and close new business with RDs, Business Development and Strategic Partners to drive programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive national and multi-site programs.
• Travel to customer locations 5 days per week.
