Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice in Texas is seeking a Community Liaison to promote hospice programs and services, establishing relationships with physicians, medical professionals, hospitals, discharge planners, and other referral sources to enroll patients in hospice in a timely manner.

This field-based role requires strong selling and communication skills, the ability to travel up to 80% of the time within the designated territory, and a track record in healthcare marketing or sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (additional experience may substitute).
• Minimum one year of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• One to two years’ experience in hospice/palliative marketing strongly preferred.
• Field based role requiring 80% travel within assigned geographic area.
• Ability to market collaboratively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Generates patient referrals through new and existing referral sources.
• Provides regular and effective communication with referral sources to ensure highest delivery of hospice service.
• Identifies opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
• Establishes and maintains relations to increase community understanding of the company’s quality and services.
• Continuously conducts market assessments and supports comprehensive marketing plans.
• Builds and monitors community perceptions of the company’s quality and services.
