Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• 1+ years of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• 1–2 years in hospice/palliative marketing preferred.
• Field-based role requiring 80% travel within the geographic area.
• Ability to market collaboratively with customers, referral sources and community.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; computer literate.
• Strong organizational, people and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Compliant with professional standards and practices.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for out-of-office activity.

Responsibilities

• Generate patient referrals from new and existing sources.
• Maintain regular communication with referral sources to ensure high-quality hospice service delivery.
• Identify opportunities for new or improved services to meet customer needs.
• Build and maintain relationships to improve community understanding of hospice services.
• Conduct market assessments and develop marketing plans to meet budgets.
• Represent the company in staff and department meetings as needed.
• Be available for evening/weekend admissions per schedule.
