Job summary

Three Oaks Hospice is seeking a Community Liaison to promote hospice services and build strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and referral sources. This field-based role requires travel within the assigned geographic area and a proactive approach to expand admissions and awareness of our hospice programs.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of hospice marketing experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), excellent written and verbal communication,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute.
• Minimum 1 year of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• 1–2 years’ hospice/palliative marketing experience strongly preferred.
• Field-based role requiring 80% travel within assigned geographic area.
• Ability to market collaboratively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
• Excellent written and verbal skills; computer literate.
• Strong organizational, people and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed with ability to work with little supervision.
• Compliant with professional standards and practices.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
• Valid driver’s license and an automobile insured for regular travel.

Responsibilities

• Generate referrals through new and existing sources.
• Provide regular communication with referral sources to ensure high-quality hospice service.
• Identify opportunities for additional or improved services.
• Maintain relationships to improve understanding of hospice in the community.
• Conduct market assessments and develop marketing plans to meet budgets.
• Monitor community perception of the company’s quality and services.
• Participate in staff and cross-functional meetings and trainings.
• Support evening/weekend admissions as needed and respond promptly.
