Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience may substitute for education.
• Minimum 1 year of sales/marketing experience in healthcare.
• 1–2 years hospice/palliative marketing experience strongly preferred.
• Field-based role requiring 80% travel within the assigned geographic area.
• Ability to market collaboratively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Generates patient referrals through new and existing referral sources.
• Maintains regular communication with referral sources to ensure high-quality hospice service.
• Identifies opportunities for expanded services to meet customer needs.
• Builds relationships to improve understanding of hospice programs and referrals.
• Conducts market assessments and supports marketing plans to meet budget projections.
• Promotes the company’s quality and services to the community.
• Attends staff and team meetings and related activities as needed.
• Participates in evening/weekend admissions as required and responds competently.
• Maintains confidentiality and flexibility in scheduling.
