Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is seeking a field-based BCBA to bring high-quality ABA services into homes, schools, and communities across Maryland. You will lead assessments, design individualized treatment plans, supervise RBTs, and coach families to embed strategies in daily life.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in ABA or related field.
• BCBA certification is required/active.
• MD licensure or in progress is required.
• Experience supervising ABA programs with RBTs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools, and community settings to assess needs and goals in natural environments.
• Develop and refine individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
• Train, supervise, and support RBTs to ensure clinical consistency.
• Partner with families through hands-on education and coaching for daily routines.
• Collaborate with supervisors to review outcomes and raise standards of care.

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

Licensed in Maryland (or actively pursuing licensure)

Experience supervising ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs
