Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is seeking a field-based BCBA in Maryland to bring high-quality ABA care directly to homes, schools, and community settings. You will develop individualized treatment plans, supervise RBTs, and coach families to support progress in everyday life.

The role requires a Master’s in ABA, BCBA certification, and MD licensure (or active pursuit). Travel is a core element, with a strong focus on outcomes and professional growth within a BHCOE-accredited network.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field required.
• BCBA certification required or in process.
• Maryland licensure or active pursuit is expected at hire.
• Experience supervising RBTs preferred.
• Valid driver's license and transportation for travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes, schools and community settings for evaluations and treatment planning.
• Develop and refine individualized ABA treatment plans for each child.
• Train and supervise RBTs, ensuring clinical consistency across sessions.
• Coach families to carry strategies into daily routines and contexts.
• Collaborate with supervisors to review outcomes and maintain high care standards.

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis

BCBA certification

Maryland licensure or pursuing licensure
