Job summary

Verbal Beginnings seeks a field-based BCBA to bring evidence-based ABA therapy directly into homes, schools, and communities. You will develop individualized treatment plans, supervise RBTs, and coach families to ensure skills generalize across daily life. Travel is required to client sites.

Must hold a BCBA certification, a Master’s in ABA or related field, and VA licensure (or be pursuing). Flexible schedule, with potential growth in leadership roles and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
• BCBA certification required.
• VA licensure or active pursuit of licensure at time of hire.
• Experience supervising ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
• Genuine dedication to high-quality, outcomes-based care for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver field-based ABA care directly in homes, schools, and communities.
• Develop and refine individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
• Train, supervise, and support RBTs in the field to ensure clinical consistency.
• Educate and coach families to apply strategies across daily routines.
• Collaborate with supervisors and QA to review outcomes and raise care standards.

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field

BCBA certification

Licensed in VA (or pursuing licensure)

Experience supervising ABA-based treatment programs by RBTs

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
