Job summary

PeopleConnect Staffing seeks a driven Business Consultant to develop new business in a field-based outside sales role. You will identify opportunities, present tailored HR and payroll solutions, and drive deals from initial meeting through close and post-sale support.

You will build relationships with business owners and HR leaders, manage a robust pipeline, and leverage Salesforce to track forecasts and opportunities. This is a high-activity, quota-driven position with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience in PEO, payroll, HR or related fields.
• Proven ability to generate new business and meet/exceed quotas.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities.
• Own the sales cycle from prospecting to close and post-sale follow-up.
• Conduct discovery with clients to understand needs and present tailored solutions.
• Develop proposals and executive-level presentations.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast accuracy.
