Job summary

PeopleConnect Staffing is seeking a highly motivated Business Consultant for an outside-sales, field-based role within the PEO/HCM and HR services space. You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, building relationships with business owners and HR leaders while managing the full sales cycle.

The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager. Base salary range is $70,000–$90,000 with uncapped commissions, targeting $135,000–$155,000+ OTE in year one and $200,000–$300,000+

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales/business development experience in PEO, payroll, HCM, HR tech or related fields.
• Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
• Experience using a CRM system; Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
• Build relationships with business owners, executives, HR leaders, and other decision-makers.
• Lead end-to-end sales process from prospecting to contract and implementation.
• Prepare customized proposals and executive-level presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, scope of services, and terms; close deals and manage post-sale relationships.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Track activity, opportunities, forecasts, and results using Salesforce.
