Job summary

PeopleConnect Staffing is seeking an ambitious Business Consultant to drive outside sales and new business development. You will own the sales cycle from prospecting to close, meeting with clients and building a strong pipeline in a field-based, non-remote role.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in outside sales, prefer experience with PEO or related services, and are comfortable working with Salesforce for tracking opportunities and forecasts. Flexible in-office reporting with field activity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales/business development experience.
• Experience selling to clients in PEO or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within your market.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, channel partnerships, and self-generated opportunities.
• Schedule and conduct initial appointments and sales presentations.
• Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale relationship management.
• Track sales activity and forecasts using Salesforce.
