Job summary

PeopleConnect Staffing is seeking a results-driven Business Consultant in Tampa, FL for an outside-sales role focused on developing new business within PEO, payroll, and HR tech sectors. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, building a strong pipeline through networking, referrals, and partnerships.

The role offers uncapped commissions and high earnings potential, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. Field-based with occasional office involvement as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales/business development experience in relevant industries.
• Ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
• Strong prospecting, networking, and pipeline-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
• Lead sales process from prospecting to closing and post-sale follow-up.
• Build relationships with business owners, executives, HR leaders, and decision-makers.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve quotas.
• Report progress to Regional Sales Manager.
