Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Field/Base Network Engineer to support the SMIT program and the NMCI backbone. You will lead a large technical team, work with the customer, and manage incident response, changes, and ongoing network operations in a fast-paced, mission-focused setting.

Required are DoD security clearance, IAT II certification, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, and 5+ years in routing/switching. Travel up to 25% and off-hours availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to TS.
• IAT Level II certifications required before onboarding.
• Network vendor certification (CCNA/CCNP) or higher.
• Ability to travel 25% including potential OCONUS trips.
• Experience troubleshooting complex routing and switching issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate BAN/LAN/WAN network functions and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate incident response, change and problem management.
• Document site activities and maintain network documentation.
• Coordinate upgrades and maintenance with stakeholders.
• Support cybersecurity requirements and STIG compliance.
