Job summary

Global Payments is hiring a B2B Outside Sales Representative for the Genius team. You will drive new business growth, manage the full sales cycle, and build trusted relationships with business owners to improve operations and loyalty.

You’ll spend significant time in the field, presenting value-driven solutions, expanding into existing accounts, and shaping territory strategy with market insights. Prior fintech or merchant services experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of success in B2B or B2C outside sales with a track record of delivering results.
• Ability to communicate, present and negotiate effectively in person and virtually.
• Residence within two hours of the territory and willing to spend up to 75% in the field.
• Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell existing merchants on features, add-ons, and hardware upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth by field outreach, digital engagement and local networking.
• Own the full sales cycle, turning conversations into revenue and delivering results in your territory.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners and position yourself as a go-to advisor.
• Deliver compelling presentations showing how Genius solutions improve operations and loyalty.
• Shape territory strategy using market insights to strengthen pipeline and momentum.
• Expand impact by introducing innovative solutions and growing account value.
• Spend up to 75% of time in the field to build relationships and close deals.
