Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth in the small business segment. In this field-based role you’ll identify opportunities, present Spectrum communication solutions, and guide clients from first contact through the final sale.

You’ll collaborate with internal teams, maintain accurate records, and continuously enhance the customer experience through proactive communication. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of sales or telecom experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years of telecom or technical industry experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid and active State driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business sales within your assigned sales territory.
• Conduct consultative needs analyses to identify Spectrum Business solutions for clients.
• Achieve sales targets across data, phone, video and mobile services from first contact to final sale.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, presentations and closed deals using required software.
• Collaborate with other business groups to ensure seamless order execution and exceptional customer service.
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current with Spectrum’s products and strategies.
• Consistently simplify and enhance the customer experience through proactive communication and support.
