Job summary

KNAPP AG is seeking a Resident Engineer to deliver first-class maintenance support for automated storage and retrieval systems at the customer site. You will bring electro-mechanical expertise to maximize equipment utilization and assist in implementing processes to maintain proper function.

The role requires hands-on fault diagnosis, calibration, and on-site problem ownership. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3+ years in machinery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field.
3+ years direct experience preferred.
3+ years in repairs on machinery systems including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Investigate and rectify electro-mechanical faults and provide preventative measures based on design specifications.
Provide emergency breakdown and specialist engineering expertise.
Establish and calibrate automation equipment, and analyze results of precision testing.
Engineer equipment modifications and designs to complete troubleshooting of PLC-based machinery and highly automated robotics equipment and control systems.
