Job summary

GEICO is hiring a Field Auto Damage Trainee in Virginia to provide reassurance and solutions after vehicle incidents. You will inspect damage, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements with body shops and rental companies.

Initial training occurs at our Ashburn, VA facility, with expansion to field training centers nationwide. The role requires a valid driver's license and strong customer service skills; high school diploma or GED is required, with a preferred adjuster license.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals preferred.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).
• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license that meets company underwriting guidelines required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage.
• Estimate vehicle repair costs.
• Negotiate equitable settlements with customers and body shops.
• Coordinate with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers.
• Write detailed repair estimates and reviews for settlements.
