Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser to write estimates and guide customers through repair or total loss processes. You will conduct on-site or virtual inspections, collaborate with body shops, and manage claims with a hands-on, fast-paced approach.

You’ll need 3–5 years of estimating experience with CCC or Mitchell, a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and detail orientation. Travel and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of auto collision estimating experience using CCC or Mitchell.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient written and verbal communication to effectively interact with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise estimates.
• Comfortable with utilizing technology across claims processing platforms.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• The Customer Service Expert – care, empathy, and clear communication on each claim.
• The Investigator – review damage and interpret policy coverage independently.
• The Effective Communicator – interface with customers via phone, email, or video to guide claims.
