Job summary

The Field Auto Appraiser role at Allstate Foundation is a field-based position serving customers at their location, repair shops, or tow yards. You will write estimates, guide customers through repairs or total-loss processes, and collaborate with shops using CCC and Mitchell estimating tools.

The position requires 3–5 years of auto collision estimating, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license with willingness to travel. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of auto collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient written and verbal communication to interact with customers.
• Strong attention to detail for precise, comprehensive estimates.
• Comfortable with technology and multiple claims platforms.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate customer service and guide claims with empathy.
• Investigate claims by reviewing damage and policy coverage.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, or video.
• Negotiate settlements with customers, vendors, and carriers.
• Use tools to estimate repairs and settlements in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate, timely notes in the claims system.
