Progressive is seeking a capable auto damage claims adjuster to serve as the main contact with customers and manage the repair process from start to finish. You will independently handle your own inventory, collaborate with body shops, and assess liability while maintaining quality customer service.

The role covers a defined Santa Cruz area with occasional office visits and field assignments across nearby regions. A driving role in the field is a core aspect of this position.

Formación

• Minimum of four years in relevant work with one year in appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience.
• Alternate qualification: Associate's degree with three years relevant experience and one year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience.
• Alternate qualification: Bachelor's degree with one year appraisal/estimatics or insurance experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance, in line with Progressive's policies.

Responsabilidades

• Complete vehicle inspections, write estimates, determine total loss evaluations and set timelines.
• Negotiate repair process with body shops.
• Document claim information and make decisions per standards and local laws.
• Evaluate and handle claim payments and resolution of claims without payments.
• Review and determine validity of any supplement requests.
