Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Application Specialist to drive successful application and implementation of our Separation technologies in the VA/MD region. You will support the sales process with product positioning, demonstrations and trials, and provide expert technical support across the customer lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in bioprocessing, MSAT, and related fields, with hands-on capability for demos, trials and customer training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in process development, MSAT, bioprocessing or CDMO/manufacturing field.
• In-depth knowledge of TFF, UF/MF/DF, NFF, viral filtration and clarification products.

Responsibilities

• Translate process requirements into product/workflow recommendations for customers.
• Design, coordinate and document trials, onboarding plans and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide technical insights for opportunity development and portfolio improvements.
• Capture feedback and competitive intelligence for Product Management.
• Train Field Application Specialists and Sales teams on technologies.
• Support customer start-ups and internal trainings; assist in quality investigations.
• Provide monthly territory activity reports to management.
