Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Applications Specialist for the West region to support single cell analysis workflows. The role covers instrument installation, training, and technical support across WA, OR, CA, NV, NM, AZ, UT, CO, ID, MT & WY, with significant travel.

The candidate should have a BA/BS in life sciences and 3+ years in single cell analysis, plus 2+ years in customer-facing support. MS/PhD preferred; relocation not offered; in-office presence expected in Milpitas, CA.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in life sciences required.
• 3 years’ hands-on single cell analysis with genomics/proteomics/NGS.
• 2 years’ customer support in single cell analysis.

Responsibilities

• Install instruments and provide applications training in the region.
• Deliver technical support and pre-/post-sales activities.
• Stay current with single cell analysis techniques and BD scM products.
• Maintain customer communication to ensure satisfaction and feedback.
• Travel up to 60% and collaborate with sales/marketing to grow BD business.
