Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Applications Specialist ScM – West to support the West US territory. You will install instruments, train users, provide technical support, and help drive customer success across WA, OR, CA, NV, NM, AZ, UT, CO, ID, MT and WY.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in life sciences and 3+ years in single cell analysis plus 2 years in customer-facing support; willingness to travel ~60% and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in life sciences required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hands-on single cell analysis with genomics/proteomics/NGS.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal lab or field scientific customer support.

Responsibilities

• Install instruments and provide applications training.
• Perform technical support and pre-/post-sales activities in the region.
• Travel up to 60% of the time; stay current with single cell analysis techniques.
• Maintain satisfaction and feedback to improve programs.
