Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Applications Specialist ScM – West to support the West US region in single-cell analysis. You will install instruments, train users, deliver technical support, and contribute to pre- and post-sales activities across WA, OR, CA, NV, NM, AZ, UT, CO, ID, MT & WY.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in single cell analysis, 2+ years in customer support, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 60% is required; a BA/BS in life sciences is minimum, with MS/PhD preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum BA/BS in life sciences required.
Minimum 3 years hands-on single cell analysis experience.
Minimum 2 years internal field scientific support in single cell techniques.
Strong understanding of lab workflows and instrumental troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and collaboration with sales/marketing.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with regional leadership to meet U.S. region goals.
Execute support strategy: instrument installation, training, and technical support.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales activities in the assigned region.
Stay current with single cell analysis techniques and product releases.
Travel up to 60% as required.
