Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Field Applications Specialist ScM to support the West region (WA, OR, CA, NV, NM, AZ, UT, CO, ID, MT, WY) from Milpitas, CA. Requirements include a BA/BS in life sciences, at least 3 years’ hands‑on single cell analysis and 2 years’ lab customer support.

Qualifications

BA/BS in life sciences required.
3 years hands-on single cell analysis in genomics/proteomics/NGS.
2 years internal field scientific customer support in single cell analysis.
Adept with scM instrumentation and assay troubleshooting.
Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Valid driver’s license with 3 years driving history.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with regional teams to meet US West region goals.
Execute support strategy: instrument installation, training, technical support, pre- and post-sales.
Stay current with single cell analysis techniques and BD scM products.
Maintain high customer satisfaction and collect feedback for program improvements.
Travel up to 60% and collaborate with sales/marketing to drive BD business.
