Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Applications Specialist ScM for the West region. The role covers WA, OR, CA, NV, NM, AZ, UT, CO, ID, MT & WY, with travel up to 60%. A BA/BS in life sciences plus 3+ years in single-cell analysis and 2+ years in customer-facing support are required.

MS/PhD preferred. On-site collaboration is emphasized and compensation includes a substantial base and incentives. The candidate will install instruments, provide applications training, and deliver pre- and post-sales

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in life sciences required.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on single cell analysis experience (genomics/proteomics/NGS).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal lab or field scientific customer support in single cell techniques.
• Adept with scM instrumentation and assay troubleshooting; able to design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 60% of the time; field-based support.
• Installations, training, and post-sales technical support in assigned region.
• Maintain strong customer communications and feedback to improve programs.
