Job summary

Waters is seeking a Field Applications Specialist ScM – West to support customers across WA, OR, CA, NV, NM, AZ, UT, CO, ID, MT and WY. You will work with regional leaders to install instruments, provide training and technical support, and help optimize single-cell analysis workflows.

Travel up to 60% and a BA/BS in life sciences are required; MS/PhD preferred. Excellent communication and collaborative skills are essential in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum BA/BS in life sciences required.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on single cell analysis in genomics/proteomics/NGS.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in internal lab or field scientific customer support.

Responsibilities

• Install instruments and provide applications training in the assigned region.
• Deliver technical support and pre-/post-sales activities.
• Maintain communication with customers to ensure high satisfaction and feedback for product improvement.
• Travel up to 60% of the time.
