Job summary

TDK Corporation of America is seeking a Field Application Engineering Manager to lead technical support and business development within the Industrial and Home Appliances group in North America, focusing on HealthTech, MedTech & Robotics markets. Responsibilities include creating technical materials, training, sample recommendations, and synergistic selling across passive components.

Travel up to 30-40% across US, Mexico, and Canada, with collaboration across Global Sales Development and product

Qualifications

BSEE or equivalent degree required.
5 years of passive electronic components or relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of power conversion for industrial applications.
Experience with Sales & Marketing tools including Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities and market trends with customer engineering teams.
Interact with Global Sales Development to align local and global strategy.
Coordinate with Products Divisions to share market information and new developments.
Establish and build customer relationships; provide solution-based selling and samples.
Support activities to reach/exceed sales budgets and manage direct IHA customers.
Provide technical support to customers, field sales, and distribution.
Create training materials, marketing guides, and technical papers.
