Arrow Electronics in Denver seeks a Field Applications Engineer to help customers select and design-in interconnect, passives, and electromechanical components from our extensive line card. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding designs and collaborating with the sales team to ensure customer success.

Hybrid: office Tue–Thu in Panorama Office; Mon and Fri work from home. You will deliver trainings, support customers and suppliers, and drive solution selling and growth across the

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of electronic design experience with a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• At least 3+ years' experience with interconnect product or related field; experience with Molex, TE, Amphenol, or Samtec preferred.
• Familiarity with specifying connectors, antennas, power supplies, circuit protection, batteries and passive components.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; sales experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
• Develop understanding of customer needs and leverage Arrow resources to identify solutions.
• Apply technical expertise to influence designs using solution selling, resources and strategies.
• Partner with the sales team across pre- and post-sales activities.
• Provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers.
• Manage opportunities and funnel for assigned suppliers.
• Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls.
