Job summary

Heitek Automation, a SunSource company, is seeking an Application Engineer to join its customer-facing engineering team in Golden, Colorado. You will bridge technical knowledge and customer satisfaction through demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting across multiple product lines.

Essentials include a technical degree and 1–5+ years in engineering or technical support, with travel as needed. This role emphasizes collaboration with sales and field teams to deliver tailored automation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or a related technical field.
1–5+ years in engineering, technical support, field service or application role.
Industry-specific experience in systems integration, application engineering, or controls engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate new products and provide technical expertise to customers.
Collaborate with sales and customers to understand requirements and propose solutions.
Gather technical information during discovery to develop a solution.
Size and specify components for sales opportunities.
Develop scope of work for projects using discovery data.
Provide product training to customers, including new and existing product lines.
Troubleshoot and support customers via email, phone, or on-site.
