Job summary

Grainger in Nashville is seeking Account Managers to drive sales growth across a defined geography. You will manage 30–35 current accounts with annual revenues of $2–$3.5M, using Grainger's Salesforce CRM to execute daily sales activities.

You will understand customer goals, respond to market changes, and develop account penetration strategies to maximize profitable opportunities. Travel within the aligned market is required, and you will report to the District Sales Manager of Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct outside sales experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Travel required to each customer within aligned market at least once per month.
• Sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning.
• Ability to develop account penetration strategies to grow market revenue.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of market data and respond quickly to developments in the customer's business.
• Oversee support of managed inventory tasks to guide greater understanding of the customers and increase sales.
