Job summary

United Central Industrial Supply, a SunSource company, seeks an energetic Account Manager (Field/Outside Sales) to promote industrial supplies to core and target accounts in the St. Louis, MO area. This role focuses on mining-related customers and requires travel as needed.

The candidate should have 1+ years of outside sales experience and a strong track record of sales achievements, with excellent communication and computer skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial outside sales experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, marketing, sales, mechanical, engineering or related field.
• Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan market strategy for core and target accounts within the territory.
• Promote product lines to customers through branch collaboration.
• Develop territory action plans to grow core business share.
• Call on customer sites daily to assess needs, take orders, and build relationships with mining personnel.
• Coordinate with Inventory Control on stock levels and obsolete inventory.
