Job summary

Genentech seeks an Account Executive for Centralized Diagnostics to be the primary contact for a defined customer base and the face of Roche to IHN partners. This field-based role covers the Indianapolis, Indiana territory, with travel as needed to maximize customer-facing time.

The AE will manage a capital and consumable quota, deepen hospital partnerships, and close new opportunities beyond current customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years relevant sales experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations.
• Negotiation, contracting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment.
• Strategic planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a heavily matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for a given customer base and be the face of Genentech to IHN partners.
• Role is field-based with territory Indianapolis, Indiana; travel as needed.
• Identify and close new opportunities outside current customer base.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue goals and solutions.
