Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a field sales professional to travel across assigned territory, meeting automotive businesses, recyclers, and suppliers to grow AIM's supplier network. You will balance relationship building with hands-on material inspection and bidding.

The role requires negotiating with suppliers, evaluating material value, and coordinating with operations to ensure smooth transportation of materials in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience in automotive, recycling, transportation, construction or related industries.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and travel daily across territory, with some overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout territory meeting automotive businesses, recyclers, scrap yards, and industrial suppliers.
• Develop relationships and grow AIM's supplier network.
• Inspect materials and prepare accurate, timely bids based on material value.
• Negotiate with suppliers to ensure profitability.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure efficient material transport.
