Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Riverside, CA is seeking a motivated Territory Sales professional to build relationships with automotive businesses, recyclers, and suppliers. You will travel extensively, inspect materials, negotiate pricing, and grow AIM's supplier network.

This role emphasizes field work and hands-on collaboration with operations and logistics to ensure timely material transport. You will need a clean driving record, comfort with outdoor work, and the self-motivation to work

Qualifications

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Experience in automotive, recycling, transportation, construction or relevant industries.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift, carry, load and unload materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
Ability to travel daily throughout an assigned territory with some overnight travel.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers and customers.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Safely handle, lift and move material during inspections and collections.
Build strong relationships with suppliers throughout your territory.
Negotiate directly with suppliers and prepare accurate bids based on material value.
Evaluate catalytic converters and conduct on-site negotiations to ensure profitability.
Maintain relationships with suppliers through regular site visits.
Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure efficient material transport.
