Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager for the NH territory, encompassing NH, MA, and ME. This role involves educating healthcare providers on reimbursement, resolving access issues, and collaborating with field support to optimize patient access to Janssen therapies.

The FRM will travel up to 50% on-site, build trusted relationships, and work with payer policies to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business/public administration; MBA/MPH preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account management and/or reimbursement experience in provider office setting.
• Experience with pharmacy and medical buy & bill, coding, billing, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Reimbursement or relevant managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving ability to navigate complex access scenarios and identify solutions promptly.
• Superior written and verbal communication and efficient follow-through.
• Experience working with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver's license and driving record compliance.
• Permanent residence in the listed territory.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements.
• Collaborate with field support team members (sales reps, key account managers) as access and reimbursement expert.
• Lead compliant access and fulfillment discussions with field support team members.
• Use data and account management to address access barriers.
• Act with urgency to address critical access and affordability issues for patients.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support aligned to FRM rules.
• Build strong relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics, coverage, coding requirements.
• Grow knowledge of hub and specialty distribution to support patients.
• Collaborate with internal departments and serve as subject matter expert on education and insights on access across payer types.
• Ensure ethical, legal, and compliant operations and training completion.
